I should be drawing but..... I've been watching a lot of movies and podcasts on movies I've been trying to catch up on. Here are some of my favorite sites:

Spill.com
This site has some really funny animated movie reviews, and fairly casual/layman reviews on movies, comic books and games.

Slate.com
An offset of the Slate magazine, this site is a bit more formal (they use slightly bigger words and are more yuppie-ish) and the insight comes from both men and women reviewers.

Hey you all you fellow Canadians, this is a Montreal based site which has many reviewers from Ontario and writers throughout the world (mainly Montrealolers and you can kinda tell). They offer an interesting mix of pretentious movie reviewer with a strong love of bad b-movie horror.

I love Sophie Grotto!

Please check out another favorite illustrator of mine Sophie Grotto. I first saw her when she started the Swatch Catalog (that I did not steal from that Swatch shop.) campaigns then found that she has done numerous beauty ads and book covers to boot. Favoured Illustrator - Annie Wu

Found an really talented illustrator off the dailywh.at site, Annie Wu. Freshly graduated from illustration school in 2010, she has a really funky and urban style, slightly remimiscent of Marguerite Sauvage, with a wicked sense of nerd humour. David Downton - new book

David Downton is one of my most favorite fashion illustrators. I was in Chapters yesterday and happened on his new book Masters of Illustration It was sooo gorgeous and gave a good beginning of the world of fashion illustration as well as one third of the book was devoted to his own art. My only complaint is that I wish more of his collection was there. For more information on him and the process there's a great interview here.
